Happy Halloween

Image
65 Trick-or-Treaters this year. More than double what we had last year. The last picture is Mark's place.

Kitten Cuddles

Is there anything better than relaxing with a wee animal on you?

The Cats

Image
Dusty has been introduced to the world today via Facebook and Instagram. Instagram isn't as popular as Facebook anymore. I can't understand why. Instagram has a much friendlier interface and is easier to use. But anyway, cats...

Bath Time

Image
Sooty decided it was high time Dusty had a proper bath. He left the kitten's fur matted and spiked. It was adorable.

Firsts

Image
Here's a new situation.  Now, I have three kitties to snuggle with as I get settled into bed. It didn't last long,  but it's a start.

More Kitten

Image
I can't get enough of this little guy. Despite my feeling quite awful as I wean off of diazepam, he makes me smile all day long.

More Progress

Image
Georgie spent most of her day downstairs.  And even though she hissed and growled, she spent time in close proximity to Dusty. So, we're moving along.  Dusty and his first vet appointment and is being treated for worms, ear mites and a respiratory infection. So, that's sad. And now the other two have to go get their shots up to date. That's happening tomorrow.

Progress

Image
Georgie is still hissing and growling,  but not quite as much. Meanwhile,  Sooty is getting back to his old habits. He's not going to let a kitten compromise his comforts. I had both Sooty and Dusty on my lap this evening for watching TV.

Autumn

Image
Just a few photos from the past few weeks.

Tamarack

Image
The trees I miss most from our acreage are the tamarack. Their golden needles in the fall are a sight to behold. I just realized today that this bluff of trees in a park I walk in nearly every day, is a group of tamarack. They are gorgeous.

Day Two

I love cats. End of story. I hope Georgia comes around soon.
