My Day-To-Day Photos

We've come out of our deep freeze. Thank goodness it was short and we can enjoy walking again. I even sat on the swing, toque off, doggie at my feet, and the dreamiest of landscapes in front of me.   

A couple rounds of Firefly happened last week. Jared took one game and Todd the other. I was left in the space-dust.  I shaw da cudest foozy mooses. I just want to be able to walk up to one and rub my nose against his. Is this too much too ask? The raven had something that looked like a snowball in his mouth and he had something to say about it. Apparently, he was quite proud of his find.    

Lounging with a cat is a great mini-vacation. We do that frequently around here. We've had some really pretty frost sunrises recently - they are what makes winter downright enjoyable. I didn't think there was a junk food out there to challenge Jared's terrible appetite for unhealthy foods, but those cheeseballs seem to be taking far longer than usual to disappear.  

The drive to Edmonton was great both ways with the roads being as good as they can be this time of year.  We drove there on New Year's Eve, and back on the 2nd. Kaitlynn opened her 'big' gifts on the first night we visited. We hauled all our stocking stuffers up and opened them together on the first.  We stayed at Staybridge Suites, and enjoyed a full kitchen, 2 bedroom, living area and 2 bathrooms. It made the stay very comfy. Swirly. Finally! It's kind of a skirt. Oy. They each have one of their own. I think this cloud looks like a dragon coming down to scoop up the sun.  Just about home.
