My Svester

 I woke up in a terrible mood. Irritated right out of the gates. I really had to work at not letting the headache get the better of me. I'm sure I will never be able to forget this experienc of having a terrible headache for 6 plus months everyday without fail. It's a long story, but here's the short version. Got out of bed, and told Todd I was going to Tim's for breakfast and taking a drive. He came with me, so yay.  Breakfast wasn't easy. My appetite is worst in the morning.  But if I force myself to eat, I feel better.  So that's what I did. I wasn't home long, Todd had left for the farm, and I was still very irritated. It didn't help that a hail storm destroyed all of my flowers last night.  Anyway,  called up Ang, and she agreed to take me golfing.  I was just a spectator,  but it was a beautiful day, and we had some laughs. I felt better. Had a nice evening with Todd, and even though my face is aching as I write this, my mood is good. So, I'm g

2022 Awards

 Jared was on the stage a few times today. He accepted his award from Drama festival for being the best sound dude. He made the Honour Roll and took the subject award for Rock Band.  Many of his close friends received several awards as well.

 Dragged Jared out of the house to take a hike at the Ravine Ecological Preserve.  I wanted to do the whole trail, so we did, and even though he didn't want to go, he said he enjoyed it at the end. I only found one tick on myself so far. Jared wore black, so who knows how many he has. I was surprised to find parts of the trail sill quite muddy, but we made it through without much difficulty.

 Dandelions at their peak, seeding is well underway, the water park is being enjoyed and my plants have to be covered due to a risk of frost. What the heck?  It was a frustrating day for Glen and Todd, as they lost the majority of the day to a breakdown. I made a special trip to get them a part they didn't need. Oh well, I welcomed the drive.
