Snuggles

Image
Please don't get me wrong, snuggling with the cats is one of my favorite pastimes, but I'm getting tired of having to be in bed so much. I feel ready to get back to everyday life. Life doesn't seem to want me as a participant at this time. 😕

A New Walking Trail

Image
On the west side of town, at the end of Broadway, lies the Ravine Ecological Preserve. I'd been wanting to take a walk there for awhile, but energy levels dictated otherwise.  I did do the short route however.  I hope to be well enough soon to walk the whole trail.  The cobra chickens had me feeling quite nervous. They were everywhere and were not nearly as frightened by me as I'd hoped. They just stared at me. Unnerving.

A Day At The Farm

Image
Today was the first time since we moved to Yorkton that I've gone out and spent a (slow) workday at the farm with Todd. We took the Commander and had a picnic at Matt's farm. I took an easy hike on the home quarter with my camera. I haven't taken it out in a very long time. It was nice to realize that I hadn't forgotten how to use it. And, we had a visit with Mom and Dad. Glen was out harrowing,  but with heavy rains in the forecast,  there will be no field work for awhile.

Sprung

I made my first trip to Skinners greenhouse yesterday.  Beano is still there and even friendlier than I remember.  I'll have to get  photo of her on y next trip.
