Todd wasn't kidding when he said the flooring was going to go down quickly once the linoleum was torn out. We're both loving how it looks too and are certain we made the right choice.
We played games, mostly MTG, but some Carcassonne as well. We ate out a few times, and on Mads' birthday, we ate at The Old Spaghetti Factory. I hid little glow-in-the-dark axolotyls all over the apartment. There are 31 of them to find.
Uncertain if she has a test on Monday, KK has a lot of "just in case" physics to do. Dad stayed up until midnight with her and got most of it done. The rest will have to wait until Sunday when she gets back from Madison's.
Grandma O invited us over for a corshy snack 2 days before Kaitlynn was leaving for Edmonton. We're pretty certain it was a batch of farewell corshy. The kids always play a game or three of Match 2 when we visit the farm Kaitlynn never wins. Then I had to take pictures of our last dinner together living as a family of four. Todd packed up the truck real good...real, real good.
