Home Harvest

Yesterday and today have been busy. I got the potatoes and carrots out of the ground and had some help picking them up at the end of the day. Today I cleaned off the sugar pumpkins, about 144 in all.   Tomorrow, I will take off as many gourds and pumpkins as I can.  Snow in the short-term forecast has my panties in a knot!
Fred was fairly certain there would be no combining today, but Todd is out there straight-cutting oats. Hopefully, he can work quite late, but the temperature dropped very fast once the sun went down. I went for a short round with him when I took him his dinner.
Jared has had his third piano lesson already, and has picked some lovely pieces this year.
