It has been a very long time since I have felt the desire to make a cake. In fact, I have thought many times that I would never do it again. Yet, here we are. Actually, I would like to do another one.
Harvest 2023 is officially underway. It started yesterday, unexpectedly for Todd. But, luckily for him, his Mommy made him a sandwich. As you can see, it is very dusty. I haven't heard anything about the yield yet.
Since my Dad went into the hospital on August 30th, things have been a little nuts around here. As of today, Dad is still in the hospital and although he is physically healing, his mental health is in question. Time will tell what happens there.
